Joanne Boycott is one of the nursery owners/managers at Croesyceiliog. Joanne and Lesley Price own Building Blocks Too Nursery In Fairwater.

The nurseries are fortunate to have excellent management teams;

 

Joanne Boycott, Rachel Jennings ( Childcare Manager) and Stephanie Selwood (Education Manager) are based at Croesyceiliog Nursery. Angharad Witchell is the deputy manager
 

 Katie Carr is the Manager at Fairwater Nursery  with Abbey Eaves and Robyn Daly supporting her as  the Deputy Managers

 

​Both Nurseries employ staff qualified to Level 2,3,4 and 5 in Early Years Childcare and Education or Play work. Additional assistants are employed at lunchtimes and also trainees and students are often present to gain valuable experience. All staff have a DBS , child protection,food hygiene and  first aid training. 

 

Our qualified and experienced staff will aim to help each child to  develop positive skills, attitudes and  understanding. Although staff are qualified they regularly attend training courses which enables them to provide a high standard of care and education for all the children encouraging learning through play.

The nursery has an open door policy, which encourages parental involvement; you are able to discuss your child's progress with staff on a daily basis. We use the app, Tapestry, to keep parents updated about their child's progress. We hold parents evenings throughout the year, and family fun days in the summer months. We aim to work alongside parents to encourage your child to become a confident and active member of society. We also welcome other professionals into our nursery as working together benefits the children.
